The Folklore Library and Archive
Picture
The Folklore Library is currently split into two catalogues - print materials and electronic books. Researchers may request complete copies of electronic works which are in the public domain. For all other materials, researchers will be able to request a copy of either one chapter, or 5% of the work (whichever is the greater) in line with current copyright regulations for educational research.

A small charge will be made for the provision and postage of hard copies of materials, or for the scanning of physical items. A donation will be encouraged for the provision of electronic works.

The electronic books library catalogue is currently under construction and will be made available on this page when it is ready.

Our reference library of print books is held at our physical site at Crediton Library where it can be consulted by researchers. Please see the links below to access our online catalogue of books, as well as indexes for our journal holdings, which are currently being prepared.
