We are a UK registered charity based in Crediton, Devon, where we have a physical reference library, document archives and artefact store. Dedicated to the collection and preservation of folklore materials and at-risk heritage, our constitutional aim is to make our collections freely available to everyone for the public good. You can download and read our full constitution here.

OUR MAJOR FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN
|
As a charity, we rely on public donations as well as grant funding to enable us to exist. In 2025, we moved into our new premises in Crediton, allowing us to open our library and archives properly to the public for browsing and research. We have an ongoing fundraiser to help us to find the money needed for the continued rental of this property, and to pay the core staff to open it. If you can help us, please CLICK HERE for more information.
You can also use the Donate button to the right of this box to make a general donation, or become a Friend of the organization on the link below. |
