Tom and Barbara Brown Folk Song collection
Folk singers and musicians Tom and Barbara Brown first met in Padstow, Cornwall during the Mayday festival in 1969, marrying the year afterwards. After having played guitar herself, Barbara concentrated on singing, accompanied by Tom on guitar, mandola, concertina or melodeon. They became well known throughout the folk world for their own performances, as well as working with other musicians and singers. Tom acted as Regional Development Manager for the English Folk Dance and Song Society (EFDSS) in 1980 and also acted in a council position for The Folklore Society.
