Welcome to the Devon Railway Heritage Archive - a unique collection of hidden heritage about Devon's branch lines. This research project was started in July 2024 with an initial funded period of collection running for nine months. The Archive was publicly launched on 22 March, 2025 at The Folklore Library and Archive as part of the Railway 200 celebrations.
The Devon Railway Heritage Archive comprises over 800 images alongside personal oral history reminiscences, film footage, document archives and artefacts relating to the history and heritage of Devon's branch line railways.
